What to Wear

Garden Party Attire

Think light, bright, and bold! Comfort is top priority, as the ceremony and festivities are outdoors in the middle of July. Go for flowy and breathable, polished but comfortable.
🌺 Extra kudos for flower power patterns!
🥿 Ladies, opt for comfy flats or wedges. Mother Nature's dance floor can be fickle!
👔 Gents, go with breezy shirts and khaki-esque trousers. Jackets and ties? Up to you!
🌄 As dusk descends, remember: a jacket is a friend that never offends!

The Venue

Over the river and through the woods, to the Akers' house we go! 
What better place to bring together family and friends than at the home of family that are friends? 
Amanda (who I lovingly refer to as my aunt-cousin), and her husband Daniel, generously offered to host our wedding celebration on their fabulous property - and we said yes!
We are so honored and grateful - and excited! - for the opportunity to host everyone in this special place.
Located just 5 miles south of Eugene off of highway 58, the Akers' property is quick and easy to get to. Look out for signage that will guide you to the appropriate entrance. There is space for parking, but it is limited, so please carpool if you can.

Eugene Airport (EUG)

We love the Eugene airport! Just 20 minutes to downtown, and less than 30 minutes to the venue. 

Portland International Airport (PDX)

Flying into Portland is also an option. It is a 2 hour drive to Eugene from PDX.

Campus Inn & Suites

Campus Inn Room Block Rates

Campus Inn has a reputation for being comfortable and clean with friendly staff and ownership. It is centrally located between downtown and the University, so is quite walkable, but is on a busy road and funky intersection which can be challenging to navigate, and maybe a bit noisy. A Hilton hotel in Downtown Eugene - it's centrally located and has funky style and a fun atmosphere.

Across from the University of Oregon's basketball arena. Easy access to the freeway on the way to and from the wedding venue.

Hayward Inn

Conveniently located across from the University of Oregon campus, with quick and easy access to the interstate.

Inn at the 5th

Upscale hotel in Eugene's premier shopping district near downtown.

We are incredibly grateful for the effort you are making to join us. All we really wish for is an amazing day spent with our family and friends.
